Eli Dokson and Tedd Brumm share night of Modern Folk at Shumei Singer-songwriters Eli Dokson and Tedd Brumm will perform their original tunes on Friday October 22nd at 7pm at Shumei International Institute in Crestone.
Before moving to Crestone, Eli and Tedd played in various bands for many years, Eli on the west coast and Tedd primarily in Texas. Currently Eli plays in 2 Weeks in Fiji and Tedd in Rescue Party, and they often sit in with each other's bands. Good friends for years, Eli and Tedd have recently begun collaborating, composing, singing and playing together. At this upcoming concert you can see them playing both together and separately -- songwriters in the round -- presenting original songs, which span a variety of styles and themes. So don’t miss this opportunity to support some local favorites in their sharing of something new! These concerts are brought to the community through a collaboration with the Hazlerig Music House and Shumei International Institute.
